Question 31113: Hello,
It's me again, Kristin. Can you help me again with another problem?
8 1/4-5 2/3=
Now I know that you have to turn it to a whole fraction.
8*4+1=33 =33/4
5*3+2=17 =17/3 ..Now comes the LCD=12
The denominators must be divided by 12 and multiplied by the numerator
3(33)/12-(4)17/12
=99/12-68/12
=31/12
=2 7/12
Is this right?
