The Formula for finding the area of a parallelogram is base times height. If the area is given and the height is given, then you need to find the base.
b x 6.2cm = 52.7 cm^2 This means cm sqaured. You will always have a sqaured answer when finding an area.
52.7 divided by 6.2 = 8.5 so your base is 8.5 cm
