2h-3.24=-1.1
first add 3.24 to both sides to isolate the h
2h-3.24+3.24=-1.1+3.24
2h=+2.24
divide both sides by 2
2h/2=2.24/2
h=1.12

2h - 3.24 = - 1.1

2h = - 1.1 + 3.24 ----- adding 3.24 to both sides of equation

2h = 2.14
