I don't know exactly what it is you are asking but allow me to break down a fraction.
A fraction has two parts:
1-the top part called the numerator and 2- the bottom part called the denominator.
The top part is also called PART while the denominator is also called
the WHOLE.
fraction = numerator/denominator
fraction = part/whole
