You can put this solution on YOUR website! First you need to find the common denominator of the four fractions in the problem.
The denominators are: 4, 3, 2, and 3.
What is the least common multiple (LCM) of these integers?
If you can't readily see the LCM, you can find it by writing out the list of multiples of each integer:
4: 4, 8, 12, 16, ...
3: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, ...
2: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, ...
You'll notice that 12 is the smallest (least) common multiple.
You now have the least common denominator (LCD) of the fractions.
Now re-write the four fractions with the common denominator of 12.
 Perform the indicated multiplications.
Now the fractions have a common denominator, you can add/subtract as indicated.
