You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you have a mixed number, such as 2%264%2F5 ,
you already have the integer part.
You get the decimal part from the fraction part, by just dividing the numerator by the denominator.
2%264%2F5=2%2B4%2F5=2%2B0.8=2.8 , because numerator 4 divided by denominator 5 is 0.8 .

If the denominator has no prime divisors other than 2 and 5,
the division ends without getting any remainder, and you get an exact decimal.
For example, 1%2F4=0.25 , 1%2F125=0.008 , 1%2F20=0.05 .

However, if the denominator is divisible by 3, 7,11, 13, 17, or any larger prime number,
you cannot get an exact decimal, and you have to round to a convenient number of decimal places.
As you keep dividing to get the next decimal place there is always a remainder,
and the division never ends, so any decimal that you can write will just be a rounded approximation.
You could round 1%2F3=0.33333.... to 0.333 for example,
or round 1%2F6=+0.166666.... to 0.17 , or 0.167 .
In those cases, you get a repeating digit, or a sequence of decimal digits,
as in 1%2F3=0.3333... or 1%2F7=0.142857142857142857... .
The number of digits in the repeating sequence is never greater than the denominator minus 1.
The repeating sequence is 7-1=6 digits when the denominator is 7 ,
and 937-1=936 digits when the denominator is 937 .
The repeating sequence could be shorter, as in the 2-digit repeating sequence in 1%2F11=0.090909... .

How do u convert mixed numbers to decimals?
*******************************************
Convert to an IMPROPER fraction, then DIVIDE numerator by denominator
OR
For the PROPER FRACTION-part of the mixed number, DIVIDE numerator by
denominator to get a decimal, then ADD the WHOLE NUMBER to the decimal
