1st we must change the mixed numbers 1 1/2 and 7 1/2 into fractions before we can work on them.
3/2 + 15/2 * 2/9 Do multiplication and division before addition and subtraction.
=3/2 + 30/18
=3/2 + 5/3 reduce fraction by dividing by 6.
=9/6 + 10/6 multiply 3*2 to get 6, the least common denominator (LCD)
=19/6 Ans.
