Question 1163063: Hello:
I need help setting up and solving this problem:
3/4 of a year is 9 months, then what is 2/12 of a month?
The answer provided was 30 days, isn't 2/12 of a month 60-61 days.
Thanks in advance.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are too many inconsistencies in what you write that I can't tell what is what....
2/12 of a month is 1/6 of a month, which is 5 days.
2/12 of a YEAR would be 2 months, which is your answer of 60-61 days.
The "provided" answer of 30 days doesn't make any sense at all....

One month could be taken as close enough to 30 days.

In this problem, the given part is irrelevant to the question,
and, in turn, the question is irrelevant to the given part.
Both the problem and the answer are good for re-cycling, ONLY.
Both are gibberish, in simple terms.
Your assumption/question "isn't 2/12 of a month 60-61 days ?" is gibberish, too.
Please do not post nonsense to this forum.
