Stanbon answered "How many minutes did it take for the wheel to turn
through 675 revolutions or rotations?". However, the question was not
that. The question asked "How many times did it rotate?".
This is a trick question, like "Who was buried in Grant's tomb?" In some
usages of the verbs "revolve" and "rotate", they are not synonymous.
However in this usage, as "goes around", they are. So if the wheel
revolved 675 times, it also rotated 675 times. The speed at which it
rotated or revolved is irrelevant.
[The verbs "rotate" and "revolve" do not mean the same thing when we say
the earth ROTATES (spins) on its axis once every 24 hours and when we say
the earth REVOLVES (moves in a circular path) around the sun once every
year.]
