Do you need a review of decimals and decimal fractions?
If so:
+.3+=+3%2F10+
+.31+=+31%2F100+
+.315+=+315%2F1000+

+20.315+ = 20 315/1000
The fraction can be reduced by
dividing top and bottom by +5+
