im sure you have figured this out by now but everything in our daily lives have basic linear equations.
say if you go to the store you will need to find out how much the total of your shopping list will cost to budget you money.
say you need 10 apples and each red apple costs 0.50 cents how much will be the total cost.
10a=x solving this linear equation you would simply substitute a for the cost of the apple to find total amount x.
