BY ADDING 6 TO EACH NUMBER.
HOW DO I KNOW 6 IS THE ANSWER?
ASSUMING IT IS AN ARITHMETIC SEQUENCE I SUBTRACT 8 FROM 38=30 & THEN DIVIDE BY 5 (30/5=6) BECAUSE THERE ARE 5 INCREMENTS BETWEEN 8 & 38.

Question 160776: I'm not sure if this is the right location to ask these questions. I only have 2 out of 52 questions left in my book and was wondering if anyone could help. First question asks Name all the subsets of the given universal set. U={0,2,4}. I only get (0)(2)(4)(2,4)(0,2)(0,4). the book asks for 2 more .What am I missing. Second question asks. Find the solution set of each open sentence from the given domain. 2x=8; D={Intergers}. I have done 4 of these already can't seem to figure this one out. can anyone please help me finish this book. Thanks.

Question 162148: Hi. I am trying to plot 2 fractions and 2 decimals on a number line. They are 1/3, -1/4, -2.5, and 1.0. I have to plot them on a line graph and then put them in order from least to greatest. I am having a lot of trouble with this and hope you can help. Thanks!!!
