Question 83872: Complete The Statement-
2 dm=?cm
689mm=?m
124?=12.4m
0.23 cm=? m
1200 m=? km
1.002 ?=1002 cm
? km = 120,000 mm
0.6 m=600?
125,000 m=125?
Describe a real-life object with these measurements-
- 8500 mm
- 0.05 m
- 42,000 m
- 12,500 cm
- 0.0092 km
- 12,000,000 mm

You can put this solution on YOUR website! So for conversions an easy way to remember it is [K]ing [H]enry [D]ied [M]onday [D]rinking [C]hocolate [M]ilk each letter stands for a unit.
K=kilometers
D=dekameters
M=meters
D=decimeters
C=centimeters
M=millimeters
for each letter you add a decimal point or a zero
so since deci is one above centi you move the decimal point to the left one place
2dm=20cm
milli is 3 below meter move the decimal point to the left 3 places
689mm=0.689m
since you moved the decimal point over one to the right you'd go up one from deci which is meters
124decimeters=12.4m
move the decimal point over 2 places
0.23cm=0.0023meters
moving the decimal point to the right three places would give you
1200m =1.2km
so since you want to move the decimal point over 3 places which would be dekameters
1.002 dekameters=1002cm
moving the decimal point over 6 places gives you kilometers
0.12km=120000mm
move the decimal point over 3 places gives you milimeters
0.6m=600mm
move the decimal point over 3 places gives you kilometers
125000m=125km
those are all the conversions but i'm not quite sure what you mean by a real-life object? you could google them if you just need something like that
