You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Convert +.25+ to a fraction
Now you have:
1/4, -3/4, -1/3, -1/4, -2, 1
Convert all the fractions to the LCD which is +12+
I'll do it for each fraction:
+%281%2F4%29%2A%283%2F3%29+=+3%2F12+
and
+%28-3%2F4%29%2A%283%2F3%29+=+-9%2F12+
and
+%28-1%2F3%29%2A%284%2F4%29+=+-4%2F12+
and
+%28-1%2F4%29%2A%283%2F3%29+=+-3%2F12+
and
+%282%2F3%29%2A%284%2F4%29+=+8%2F12+
That's all the fractions
Now you can order them from the most negative
to the most positive
------------------
-2, -9/12, -4/12, -3/12, 8/12, 1
For the fractions, you only have to look at the numerator
now to see it's position on the number line. For the whole
numbers, place them last
Hope this helps
