You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You cannot plot complex numbers on a number line. sqrt%28-16%29+=+4i. You must plot it on a modified coordinate plane in which the x axis is the real axis and the y axis is the complex axis.


4i would be (0,4i) (as if it were (0,4) on a normal coordinate plane.)
