From the first equation we can find y=2x-12 and we replace this in the second equation, instead of y in the second equation,
we are going to have 3x+2(2x-12)=25. Let's solve it 3x+4x-24=25 let's simplify more 7x=24+25 so 7x=49 so x=7. Now we can replace x=7 in the first equation and find y. y=2x7-12=2 So the solutions are x=7 and y=2. If we replace these values in any equation, it has to be true. 2x-y=12, for x=7 and y=2 the equation changes to 14-2=12, which is true, so the x and y values are true.
