Calculate the area of the triangle with the following vertices. Include the matrix with your work.

(1) (0,-9), (3,-9), and (0,-2)

(2) (-8, -2), (-1, -11), and (-1, -2)

(3) (-5, 1), (2, 9), and (-5, 9)

(1)  In case (1), the triangle is a right-angled triangle, as you can learn it,
     looking at the points coordinates attentively.


     After this observation, the solution is OBVIOUS.




(3)  In case (3), the triangle is a right triangle, again, as you can learn it,
     looking at the points coordinates attentively.


     After this observation, the solution is OBVIOUS, again.



(2)  In case (2),  you have one horizontal side of the length 7 and the altitude to this side of the length 9.


     So, you can easily calculate the area of this triangle, as well.
