I'd like some help on this question please;
Find the volume generated when the area bounded by the curve y = x^2 + 2, the line x = 1, and the axes, is rotated through 3600 around the y-axis.
I'm using the limits 3 and 0, with the integral function y^2/2 - 2y, giving 3pi/2; can't see where I'm going wrong as the given answer is 5pi/2.

This is what I got for my R(x)=-0.02x^2+6.65x and for the cost I got C(x)=43.6+1.18x

Maximum Revenue. Find the number of loaves that should be sold in order to maximize revenue. What is the maximum revenue? What price should be charged in order to maximize revenue?

Maximum Profit. Find the number of loaves that should be produced and sold in order to maximize the profit. What is the maximum profit? What price should be used to maximize profit?

Conclusion. How many loaves of bread will you produce each week and how much will you charge for each loaf? Why?

Question 948004: I was working on the gavin rose project for pre-ap algebra and I'm not getting how we set the equations on the graph. (which is 80 yards by 80 yards)
for example they gave us four equations :
3x-4y =55
3x-2y=85
3x-4y=-125
3x+2y=175
these four equations are the boundaries of the house.
i set up the first equation as :
3x-4y=55
subtracted the both sides by 3x which left me
4y=55+3x
then divided by four on each side which i got
y=55+3x/4
im not sure if this is correct but i still can't figure out where i should add it if i am correct
please help, this is due tomorrow :(
