You can put this solution on YOUR website! 47 is percent, per-cent means for every hundred. But you want to know 47 per-one, so you can multiply that per-one for however many you want. So the first thing you do is: 47/100= 0.47.

0.47x= 2 914 Divide both sides by 0.47 and the result is your answer.

I think you made a mistake copying it and I think it probably should say "The sum of the present ages of a son and his father is 60" If that was the case, then solving it is a breeze.
