You can put this solution on YOUR website! what is x-intercept of the line passing through points (-4,15) and having a slope of -1
equation of a line in slope-intercept form: y=mx+b, m=slope,b=y-intercept
y=-x+b
solve for b using given coordinates(4,15) on the line
b=y-x=15-4=11
equation: y=-x+11
y-intercept=11

In the post by @lwsshak3 the answer is given for y-intercept,
while the question is about x-intercept.
In addition, some interior formulas in his post are written incorrectly.
So, I came to provide an accurate solution.
equation of a line in slope-intercept form: y = mx+b, m = slope, b = y-intercept
y = -x+b
solve for b using given coordinates(4,15) on the line
b = y+x = 15 + (-4) = 11
equation: y = -x+11
x-intercept is when y=0, i.e. -x + 11 = 0.
It gives x-intercept x = 11. ANSWER.
Solved correctly to teach you in a right way.
