Question 983679: Determine the slope and the y-intercept. Then draw a graph.
g(x)= -0.25x
slope:-0.25
y-intercept: (0,0)
I plotted (0,0) on the graph. For the slope and rise and run plot, I have (1, -0.25). The book's rise and run plot is (4,-1). Please help as I'm confuse with the rise and run of -0.25.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Both points are on the line, and there are an infinite number of correct answers. The only way that the book's answer is more correct than yours is if the question specified that your plot had to have integer coordinates.
