Hi there,
To find where a line cuts the 'x'
axis make y = 0
y = -6x + 7
0 = -6x + 7
6x = 7
x = 7/6
Cuts x axis at (7/6,0)
To find where a line cuts the 'y'
axis make x = 0
y = -6x + 7
y = -6(0) + 7
y = 7
Cuts y axis at (0,7)
Hope this helps:-)
