Question 959446: Find the slope of the line
x-y=-2
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solve for y
x-y=-2
x-y+y=-2+y
x=-2+y
y-2 = x
y-2+2 = x+2
y = x+2
The equation y = x+2 is in the form y = mx+b where m = 1 is the slope.
