Question 943670: I need to find an equation of the line through (2,7) and parallel to y=4x-3 then I need to write the equation using function notation. This is what I have done so far.
m=4
y-2=4(x-7)
y-2=4x-28
Please help I am stuck

You used the point-slope formula, with m, or slope = 4, but you used the point (7, 2) instead of (2, 7).
You should've had: , resulting in:
