``Given: K(0, 4), A(3, 6), T(6, 2), E(0, -2)
Prove: KATE is a trapezoid
Find the slope of all 4 sides- show all work

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
K(0,+4), A(3, 6), T(6, 2), E(0, -2)
Well, trapezoids have two sides that are parallel to each other. So, find the slope between points K & A and between points T & E . They should be the same, which means they're parallel.

Solved by pluggable solver: Finding the slope

Slope of the line through the points (0, 4) and (3, 6)

Answer: Slope is m+=+2%2F3

m+=+%28y%5B2%5D+-+y%5B1%5D%29%2F%28x%5B2%5D+-+x%5B1%5D%29

m+=+%28-2+-+2%29%2F%280+-+6%29

m+=+%28-4%29%2F%28-6%29

m+=+2%2F3

Answer: Slope is m+=+2%2F3

the slopes are same which means the sides are parallel, and KATE is a trapezoid
to see it on a graph, we nee to plot all points on a graph and connect them
K(0,+4), A(3, 6), T(6, 2), E(0, -2)
