You can set up a ratio:
( distance1 walked ) / ( time to walk it ) =
( distance2 walked ) / ( time to walk it )

Let +t+ = time is seconds
+10+%2F+6+=+500+%2F+t+
Multiply both sides by +6t+
+10t+=+3000+
+t+=+300+
It would take 300 seconds to walk 500 meters
You can convert seconds to minutes:
+300+%2F+60+=+5+
It would take 5 minutes to walk 500 meters
