Remember slope? Vertical Change Divided by Horizontal Change.

m for slope.
Points, (x,y) and (u,v). x and y might or might not be known.
m=%28y-v%29%2F%28x-u%29, formula for slope.
m%28x-u%29=y-v
highlight_green%28y-v=m%28x-u%29%29, point-slope for for equation for a line.

Start with that form and substitute your given values.

Use the point-slope formula, y+-+y%5B1%5D+=+m%28x+-+x%5B1%5D%29, where y%5B1%5D+=+-+7;x%5B1%5D+=+2; and m+=+5%2F6 

Therefore, y+-+y%5B1%5D+=+m%28x+-+x%5B1%5D%29 becomes: y+-+-+7+=+%285%2F6%29%28x+-+2%29

y+%2B+7+=+%285%2F6%29x+-+5%2F3

y+=+%285%2F6%29x+-+5%2F3+-+21%2F3
