Question 875989: Please help me with this problem: What is the slope of the graph of 6x+2y=7
I have tried the rise/run formula and have had no luck. I have also tried graphing it but am having trouble.
Thank you,
Morgan.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Slope, rise over run, vertical change divided by horizontal change ---
so pick any two values for x and find the corresponding y values. You will have two points. Now, find change in y divided by change in x.

Use any values for x.
, y=-3*0+7/2, .
, , .
Two points found are (0, 7/2) and (1, 1/2).
