You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Convert to slope-intercept form, y=mx%2Bb where m is the slope.
6x%2B2y=7
2y=-6x%2B7
y=-3x%2B7%2F2
.
.
.
m=-3

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope, rise over run, vertical change divided by horizontal change ---
so pick any two values for x and find the corresponding y values. You will have two points. Now, find change in y divided by change in x.

2y=-6x%2B7
y=-%286%2F2%29x%2B7%2F2
y=-3x%2B7%2F2
Use any values for x.
x=0, y=-3*0+7/2, y=7%2F2.
x=1, y=-3%2A1%2B7%2F2, y=7%2F2-3=7%2F2-6%2F2=1%2F2.
Two points found are (0, 7/2) and (1, 1/2).

Slope, %281%2F2-7%2F2%29%2F%281-0%29=-6%2F2=highlight%28-3%29
