In other words, what is the equation for the line AB? The mid point of the segment AB is also on the line AB.

Using point slope form directly:
y-%28-2%29=%28%28-2%2B4%29%2F%283%2B5%29%29%28x-3%29
You can do the simplification.

"perpendicular" to AB?
