6x-4x-4=2x%2B4 Distribute.


-4%2B2x=2x%2B4 Combine like terms on the left side.


2x=2x%2B4%2B4 Add 4 to both sides.


2x-2x=4%2B4 Subtract 2x from both sides.


0x=4%2B4 Combine like terms on the left side.


0x=8 Combine like terms on the right side.


0=8 Simplify.


Since the equation 0=8 is never true for any x value, this means that there are NO solutions.
