You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Slope of the line that contains the points (4,-3) and (5,5) = (5-(-3))/(5-4)
= (5+3)/1
= 8
Slope of the line that contains the points (-2,-3) amd )-4,1)
= (1-(-3))/(-4-(-2))
= (1+3)/(-4+2)
= 4/-2
= -2
As both the slopes are not equal, the lines are not parallel.
