Parallel lines always have the same slope, so we need to determine the slope of this line:
4x+9y=14
9y=-4x+14

y=(-4/9)x+(14/9)
The slope is -4/9, new we need to plug in our point and slope to the point slope formula:
y-y1=m(x-x1); where m is the slope, x1 is the x-coordinate, and y1 is the y coordinate

y-5=-4/9(x-0)
y-5=-4/9x
[y=-4/9x+5]
Hope this helps!

Parallel lines have the same form,
4x%2B9y=D
USe the point to solve for D
