Find the equation, in standard form (ax + by = c) of the line passing through the points

 (5,1) and 

(-2,3)   m = -2/7     m+=%28y%5B2%5D+-+y%5B1%5D%29%2F%28x%5B2%5D+-+x%5B1%5D%29   

First: Using point-slope form, y+-+y%5B1%5D+=+m%28x+-+x%5B1%5D%29

+y+-+1+=+%28-2%2F7%29%28x-5%29

    +y+-+%287%2F7%29=%28-2%2F7%29x+%2B+10%2F7

      y = (-2/7)x + 17/7   |Multiplying thru by 7 so as all denominators = 1

     2x+%2B+7y+=+17
