Plot the point::
slope = -3 means "y decreases 3 when increases 1".

Put yor pencil point at (-8,-6);
Move the pp 1 to the right, to (-7,-6)
Move the pp 3 down to (-7,-9)
Plot the point (-7,-9)
Draw a line thru the two points.
