"slope-intercept" form of a line:
y = mx + b
where
m is the slope (or gradient)
and
b is the y-intercept
.
Since it passes the "origin", the y-intercept is 0 so now we have:
y = mx + 0
since the "gradient" is 7, m must be 7
y = 7x + 0
or
y = 7x (answer)
