You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Each ordered pair is simply (x,y). For instance, (0,4) can written as x=0 and y=4.
So to see if the solutions work, plug them into the equation
3x-y=12

3%280%29-4=12check to see if 1st pair works
-4=12 false

3%284%29-0=12check to see if 2nd pair works
12=12 true

3%28-1%29-15=12check to see if 1st pair works
-3-15=12
-18=12 false (edit: sorry I read the problem wrong)
So only (4,0) is the only solutions.

Determine if the ordered pair is a solution of the equation
3x-y=12
Substitute the x and the y values into the equation to see if you get a true statement:
(0,4): 3*0-4=12; -4=12; not true so pt is not a solution.
(4,0): 3*4-0=12; 12=12; true so pt is a solution
(-1,15): 3*-1-15=12; -3-15=12;-18=12; falso so pt is not a solution
