you are given:
1. xy=6
2. y=-x%2B2 and
3. 2y=-6
the standard form for linear equations:
ax+%2B+by+=c

xy=6...... is NOT linear equation because y=6%2Fx, it is hyperbola
here is a graph of y=6%2Fx

2. y=-x%2B2...... IS a linear equation because we have x%5E1 and we can write it in the standard form for linear equations like this
