first write them in slope-intercept form
3x-y=9
y=3x-9.....so, we see that a slope is 3

+2y-6x=-2
+2y=6x-2
+y=6x%2F2-2%2F2
+y=3x-1...........we see that this line has a slope 3 too
if two lines have same slope, they are parallel
