You can put this solution on YOUR website! How can I write out or what are the steps to find the slope of a line which contains the points (4,5) and (-1,0)
---------
Find the slope of the line:
m=slope=[5-0]/[4--1]=5/5=1
Pick one of the points, say (4,5)
Substitute the x=4,y=5, and m=1 into the formula
y=mx+b; then solve for "b", as follows:
5=4*1+b
b=1
The equation you want is y=x+1
