Hi,
Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
A 'new' Line is is parellel to y=highlight%283%29x+%2B+4 and passes through ( -2, 3)
New Line also has a slope of 3
y = 3x + b | using ordered pair(x,y): Pt(-2,3) to solve for b
3 = 3%2A%28-2%29+%2B+b
9 = b
y = 3x + 9 is the equation of the 'new' Line in slope-intercept form
