You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1st: y = 3x + 11
2nd; 3x + 3y = 0
--------------
Substitute for y in 2nd to get:
3x+3(3x+11)=0
3x+9x+33=0
12x=-33
x=-11/4
----------
Substitute into 1st to solve for "y", as follows:
y=3(-11/4)+11
y=-33/4 + 44/4
y=11/4
----------
Solution:
x=-11/4, y=11/4
The systerm is consistent.
