You can put this solution on YOUR website! HI
how to find the midpoint and length of the line segment with endpoints (2,0) and (-3,-1).
Thank you
MID POINT IS GIVEN BY AVERAGE OF COORDINATES
HENCE
X COORDINATE OF MIDPOINT = (2-3)/2 =-1/2
Y COORDINATE OF MIDPOINT = (0-1)/2 =-1/2
HENCE MIDPOINT IS (-0.5,-0.5)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! endpoints (2,0) and (-3,-1).
Line with endpoints (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)
Midpoint of this segement is ((x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2)
so mid point is ((2-3)/2,(0+(-1))/2)
(-1/2,-1/2)
length of the segement = sqrt[(x1-x2)^2 + (y1-y2)^2]
= sqrt[(2-(-3))^2 + (0-(-1))^2]
= sqrt[(5)^2 + (1))^2]
= sqrt[25 + 1]
= sqrt(26)
