: Solve equation. I tried but I kept getting the wrong answer. Here's what I did,

-[3x-(2x+5)]=-4-[3(2x-4)-3x]
-3x-2x+5=-4-6x-12-3x
-x+5=-16-3x
+x +x
5=-16+2x
+16 +16
21=2x

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
• -[3x-(2x+5)]=-4-[3(2x-4)-3x]
• - [3x – 2x -5] = - 4 – [ 6x -12 – 3x]
• -3x + 2x + 5 = - 4 – 6x + 12 + 3x
• Simplifying the above equation, we get
• - x + 5 = 8 – 3x
• Get all the like terms to one side we get,
• - x + 3x = 8 – 5
• 2x = 3
x = (3/2)
