You can put this solution on YOUR website!
this is my problem (0,5) m=3/5
The slope intercept form of a line is:highlight%28y=mx%2Bb%29, where m=slope and (0,b) is the y-intercept.
Your m=3/5 and (0,b)=(0,5)
y=%283%2F5%29x%2B5 <--- this is the slope intercept form of your line.
Standard form is highlight%28Ax%2BBy=C%29, where A, B, and C are integers, some books also want A to be positive.
So multiply your problem by the LCD to clear your fraction.
5y=5%283%2F5%29x%2B5%285%29
5y=3x%2B25
-3x%2B5y=-3x%2B3x%2B25
-3x%2B5y=25
-%28-3x%2B5y%29=-%2825%29
3x-5y=25
Happy Calculating!!!
