Problem: Find slope of: x-2y=8
To find the slope, you should always put the equation into y=mx%2Bb form.
So:
x-2y=8
x-8=2y
y=%281%2F2%29x-%288%2F2%29
y=%281%2F2%29x-4
The slope is 1/2.
