You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Can someone help me find the slope of
the line through (-4, 3) and (-5, -2)?
Thanks

Just plug

x1 = -4, y1 = 3,
x2 = -5, y2 = -2

into the slope formula:

     y2 - y1
m = ---------
     x2 - x1

      (-2) - (3)
m = --------------
     (-5) - (-4)

     -2 - 3
m = --------
     -5 + 4

     -5
m = ----
     -1

m = 5

The line slopes like this:

         +graph%28+300%2C+300%2C+-6%2C+6%2C+-6%2C+6%2C+5x%2B23%29+
