I need to graph y = 3/4 x -4
Let x=0 and solve for y:
y=(3/4)(0)-4
y=0-4
y=-4
Plot (0,-4)
:
Let x=4 and solve for y:
y=(3/4)(4)-4
y=12/4-4
y=3-4
y=-1
Plot (4,-1)
Connect the points and you have a line that looks like:
