The equation is in the form y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept
m=-3
b=5 in this case
Start at the y intercept (0,5) and then since my slope is -3 (which can be written as -3/1) we will go down 3 and over one to point (1,2) Draw a line between these two points and you'll get:
