You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 5 x -9
Compare this equation with y=mx+b
slope m = 5 0.8
The slope of a line parallel to the above line will be the same
The slope of the required line will be 5
m= 5 ,point ( 6 , -4 )
Find b by plugging the values of m & the point in
y=mx+b
-4 = 30 + b
b= -34
m= 5
Plug value of the slope and b in y = mx +b
The required equation is y=5x-34

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The slope of +y=5x-9+ is 5
Any line parallel to this line has
a slope equal to +5+
Use the point-slope formula
+%28+y+-+%28-4%29%29+%2F+%28+x+-+6+%29+=+5+
+%28+y+%2B+4+%29+%2F+%28+x+-+6+%29+=+5+
+y+%2B+4+=+5%2A%28+x+-+6+%29+
+y+%2B+4+=+5x+-+30+
+y+=+5x+-34+
check answer:
(6,-4)
+-4+=+5%2A6+-+34+
+-4+=+30+-+34+
+-4+=+-4+
OK
