i dont see the point of the ^1? as any #^1 is the same thing.
the equation that id use is the finding slope formula %28y2-y1%29%2F%28x2-x1%29=m
but seems you already have the slope so this formula is useless. so the formula for y intercept form is y=mx%2Bb plug in and solve for b
-4=%288%2F3%293%2Bb
-4=8%2Bb
-12=b
put back in formula
